Accessible travel with Discover Airlines

We want to provide passengers with reduced mobility or sensory impairment with the best possible support on their journey with Discover Airlines and offer various free services for this purpose.

We require some advance information from you to ensure your comfort at the airport and on board our aircraft. Please let us know what support you will require via the contact options at least 48 hours before your departure. If you book a ticket by telephone or at a travel agency, please specify your requirements there before completing your booking. We can no longer guarantee the best support if you register at shorter notice.

On the following pages we have brought together important information about accessible travel.

Please report to the Discover Airlines check-in counter no later than 60 minutes before departure. This also applies even if you have already checked in online. The assistance service can only be guaranteed for passengers who have registered their assistance needs in good time (48 hours before departure) and who arrive at the airport early.

Medical care form

With certain diseases (e.g. heart/lung disease, stroke, etc.), injuries as a result of an accident, or chronic conditions, an assessment of your fitness to fly must be obtained from Lufthansa’s medical service.

If you have any questions about your health on flights, please contact the Medical Operation Center.
