Economy Light

You have booked the Economy Light fare, but your snorkel and beach towel no longer fit in your carry-on baggage? Simply add a check-in bag to your booking in the My Bookings section on Lufthansa.com. Alternatively, you can add a check-in bag via the Discover Airlines Service Center, at the check-in counter or, in the case of a package tour, via your tour operator.

All other fares

If you would like to check in another bag in addition to the free baggage allowance in your booked fare, you can book this via the Discover Airlines Service Center, at the check-in counter or, in the case of a package tour, via your tour operator.

You can find a price overview for additional baggage as well as excess and special baggage in the baggage calculator on lufthansa.com. With the baggage calculator you can also check how much baggage you are allowed to take with you according to the route, booked travel class and fare. Sports baggage and special baggage

Dangerous goods
