You can choose and reserve the seat you want directly during booking. Should you wish to make a reservation after booking, you can book your seat conveniently under “My Bookings” on lufthansa.com because Discover Airlines is part of the Lufthansa Group.

If you have already received the six-digit Discover Airlines booking code with your travel documents, you can book the seat you want as described above via the My Bookings section on the Lufthansa website.

Online check-in:
You can check in conveniently online for your Discover Airlines flight from 23 hours before departure. In addition, customers with a Miles & More profile can enjoy the convenience of our automated check-in service if they wish.

Online check-in with tour operator’s code:
If you have booked your flight with Discover Airlines via a tour operator, you can check in on the Lufthansa website. To do so, select the “Tour operator travel” tab.

You have the choice between two upgrade offers:

1. Upgrade for an additional payment
On short-haul flights you can upgrade from Economy Class to Business Class. On long-haul flights, you also have the option of upgrading from Economy Class to Premium Economy or Business Class as well as from Premium Economy to Business Class.
You can do this in advance conveniently in your booking on lufthansa.com. You can also purchase an upgrade, subject to availability, when you are at the airport or on board your flight.

There is also the possibility of an upgrade for an additional payment for package tours. Please contact our Service Center with your request no earlier than 48 hours before departure. You can book an upgrade by providing your organizer transaction number, which you received when booking your package tour, and your last name, which you specified when booking. Payment will then be made at the airport on the day of departure.

2. Upgrade with miles
All Miles & More members can now book an upgrade with their accrued miles on Discover Airlines flights and enjoy an even more relaxed start to their vacation. As with the upgrade for an additional payment, you can upgrade to the class you want on both short and long-haul flights.
You can book mileage upgrades as usual via the Miles & More website, the Miles & More call center and, subject to availability, with Discover Airlines at the airport.

There is also the possibility of an upgrade with miles for package tours. Please contact Miles & More with your request at least 48 hours before departure. By stating your name, which you specified when booking, your Miles & More service card number and your flight, you can book an upgrade.

You can change your flight booking, provided that your ticket’s fare conditions allow it. You can find out whether your ticket can be rebooked and whether that will incur a charge by looking at your booking confirmation or contacting your travel agency or our Service Center. Alternatively, you can also rebook your flight details under “My Bookings” on the website of our partner Lufthansa.

Depending on the alternative flight you choose, additional charges may apply to a higher fare. The amount of the additional charge depends on the availability of your selected booking class and will be communicated to you during the rebooking.

Discover Airlines offers passengers a choice of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes in all travel classes. Vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, and kosher special meals as well as children's menus can be ordered up to 48 hours before departure.

Discover Airlines provides status customers of the Miles & More, Aeroplan and MileagePlus frequent flyer programs with a comprehensive lounge offer in Frankfurt and Munich (Lufthansa lounges & Airport Lounge World).

In Frankfurt, HON Circle Members have exclusive access to the First Class Lounge and to the First Class Terminal, in addition to the Business Class and Senator Lounges.
Miles & More Senators, and Gold status customers in the MileagePlus and Aeroplan programs, can use the Business Class and Senator Lounges as usual.

You can expect free first-class entertainment throughout your flight with us. A wide variety of film and series highlights awaits you in our Onboard Cloud on all short- and medium-haul flights. You also have access to digital magazines, journals and games on all our flights and in all travel classes. Visit our Onboard Shop and our Onboard Bar and browse through our selection of goods.
Simply connect to our Onboard Cloud with your smartphone, tablet or laptop and call up the program directly on your own device. Please note that there is no Internet connection on board. For optimal use, we therefore recommend that you install the latest version of Google Chrome or Apple Safari as well as the latest update of your operating system before the flight. The flight mode of your device must always be activated on board.

On board the Airbus A330 long-haul aircraft, headphones are available in Business Class, Premium Economy Class and Economy Class, which you can use free of charge during the flight. You can also use your own headphones with a jack plug to enjoy our entertainment on your personal HD screen.
