Which animals are excluded?
- Pregnant animals will not be transported.

Liability and weather
If transportation is denied due to non-compliance with regulations, Discover Airlines will not be liable for any resulting costs (e.g., rebooking, accommodation, hotel). Transportation in the hold may be denied at short notice or seasonally due to extreme weather conditions at the destination.
The animal must be registered and confirmed in a timely manner. The deadline depends on the registration method:
Availability is limited. It is best to register your animal directly when completing your flight booking.
- If possible, get your pet used to the travel carrier at home by placing them in the closed travel carrier several times for approximately two hours and then rewarding them.
- Many animals are very nervous before and during a flight. Nevertheless, you should consider whether you want to calm your pet with medication. Doing this can make your pet’s reactions unpredictable. For example, circulatory problems may occur during the flight. Please discuss this with your veterinarian.
- Place a “security blanket” and favorite toy in the travel carrier to soothe your pet with a familiar smell.
- Check with your veterinarian to determine how you should adjust your pet’s food during the flight, if necessary.
