A Discover Airlines A350-900 in the air

A350-900

The Airbus A350-900 is one of the most modern intercontinental aircraft in the world. Starting in mid-2027, we will be phasing in four of these exceptionally efficient and comfortable aircraft to our fleet. With a reach of approximately 15,000 km, we will be offering our guests a whole new travel experience on direct flights to distant vacation destinations. Due to its lower fuel consumption, the A350-900 generates around 25 percent fewer CO2 emissions than its predecessor model, making it one of the most economical intercontinental aircraft ever. Furthermore, the aircraft’s noise “footprint” is reduced by more than half. The "Airspace" cabin offers peace, comfort and relaxation with its generous interior layout. Thanks to larger porthole windows and optimized ventilation, the cabin is bathed in natural light and constantly supplied with fresh air.

Did you know...?

The porthole windows of the A350-900 are larger than those of the A330 or Boeing 777, allowing more natural light to enter the cabin.

The cabin has higher humidity and lower cabin pressure than older aircraft → less jet lag!

If you can fly an A330, the A350 is essentially an “upgrade with the same buttons.” Airbus calls this the Common Type Rating: basically the IKEA assembly kit for pilots.

An A350-900 weighs approximately 140 tons unladen, but can reach a take-off weight of almost 280 tons. It’s like carrying yourself on your shoulders.
